Introducing Thunder: The World's Cutest Rabbit

June 2025

As you've seen on my welcome page, Thunder is my rabbit. He is well-behaved, but sadly he is kind of fat. My mom and I had to put him on a diet. The vet recommended rabbit food pellets, and we only give him a handful and a half each morning. He doesn't save any of it; he gobbles it up in a second! Rabbits also eat fresh green hay, which he can have an unlimited source of. He can eat as much as he wants without getting sick (which he is kind of forced to do after he eats all of his pellets).

When my mom and I first got him, we originally thought Thunder was a girl, because that's what the store employees said. Then again, when they are young, it's hard to tell. Back then, he was given a different name: Aminne (pronounced: ay-me-en). How did we find out he was a boy? When Thunder had a smaller cage, he was making a big mess by chewing on the wooden walls and throwing things around with his little bunny teeth. He was also shedding really badly. My mom took him to the vet, and they found out it was actually rabbit hormones affecting his behavior, and that "she" was a boy!
